Sewer Drain and Culvert Cleaning

IWJS uses the latest specialist vehicles and equipment to unblock and clean sewers and drains of all sizes. This service is frequently used in conjunction with CCTV surveys along with no-dig solutions to underground problems. Pipe work from 100 mm to over 2000 mm can easily be accommodated.

As a national contractor to the major Water Utilities, construction firms, Highways England and other government agencies, IWJS has a large and diverse range of vehicles designed specifically for the task. Investment has enabled IWJS to provide a robust, cost effective service resolving all drainage issues with one phone call that is trusted by many organisations nationally.

Combination units provide a jetting and suction facility where blockages can be cleared and then removed from the pipe work. Using recycling technology where the waste water is captured, filtered and reused has dramatically reduced environmental impact and allows the vehicles to remain on site for longer improving our operational efficiency.

Specialised vehicles are fitted with ultra-high pressure jetting, offering four times more power than normal for jetting in situations for example like removal of grout and cement. Additionally, off-road capability is also available using either 4×4 Land Rover vehicles or small Kubota units, fully equipped to survey lines up to 600mm plus in diameter.

Supporting the fleet is an experienced and well trained team of operators fully accredited to work in different sectors. Man entry high risk qualified staff are available. All operational staff carry the necessary industry qualifications to ensure a professional and safe service. Planned preventative maintenance programmes can be implemented to ensure sewer operational integrity and reduce flood risk, with emergency response also available.

Sewer and drain clearing is only one part of the comprehensive range of services available from IWJS. With CCTV surveys, sewer repairs and sewer rehabilitation services often working alongside sewer and drain cleaning projects.
