IWJS has successfully been awarded significant new business from the Environment Agency (EA) with work on their South East Framework, following tough and lengthy tendering for this important contract for the Company valued at £1m.
The work will feature providing services for the Environment Agency predominantly in the South East Region for CCTV Culvert Inspection and Cleaning services for them. Historically, IWJS has had only a fairly limited involvement within this particular area for the EA, so the award of this new contract for IWJS is especially welcome new business from the Agency. Commenting on this significant new business with the Environment Agency, Peter Maasz, IWJS Business Development Director, had this to say:
“Over the last ten years, IWJS has made continuous inroads with the Environment Agency, as we’ve built steadily our reputation for providing service as a trusted partner with them. So the award of this significant new business with the Agency has come as very welcome news indeed I’m delighted to say.”
He then went on to add:
“Fundamental to our successful bid, was the teamwork of all involved at IWJS to go the extra mile to win it. In fact, the Environment Agency praised the quality and professionalism of our bid with the in-depth and detailed approach of our submission. So my thanks go to all the team involved, as we now take IWJS forward to successfully deliver this welcome new business in our 40th Anniversary year as a trusted partner with the Agency.”
